Send Your Governor a Holiday Card
NAMI’s top priority for 2010 is to save state mental health services from massive state budget cuts. Please send pretty holiday cards—the bigger the better—to your governor and state legislators.
Write “Please protect and strengthen mental health care in 2010. We can’t take anymore cuts” and include a few more short comments or a personal story. Ask other NAMI members, family and friends to help. This is one small step in many that will be needed. It may seem like only a ripple, but together we can build a wave to carry our cause forward.
