About NAMI Advocate

NAMI Advocate is the flagship vehicle for public communication from NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. It brings you the kind of timely, practical information you need, whether you are an individual living with mental illness, a family member or a friend of person who lives with serious mental illness.

The Advocate is published 12 times per year. Three times per year it is published as a magazine, delivered via postal mail exclusively to NAMI members. It is also published as an e-mail newsletter, available to all NAMI friends and supporters, in the months that the print magazine is not published. Both the magazine and e-newsletter are available online at www.nami.org/advocate.
