The Consumer Council is an official advisory council to the NAMI National Board of Directors.

- In Our Own Voice: Living with Mental Illness
A one-and-a-half hour interactive, multi-media presentation by consumers for consumers and others about living with mental illness.
- NAMI on Campus
NAMI on Campus affiliates are student-run, student-led organizations that provide mental health support, education, and advocacy in a university or college setting.
- Online Communities
NAMI's Online Communities offer a place for people with common interests to stay informed on the topics that interest them, while sharing knowledge and finding support from people who have been there.
- Information Helpline
Trained volunteers provide information, referrals, and support to all who have questions about or are affected by serious mental illness.
- Multicultural Action Center
The Multicultural Action Center works to focus attention on system reform to ensure access to culturally competent services and treatment for all Americans and to help and support families of color who are dealing with mental illness.
