2006 NAMI Convention

Changing Minds, Changing Lives, Keeping the Promise

NAMI welcomed its members, friends, and scores of others whose lives have been affected by serious mental illness to the nation's capital from June 28 - July 2 for the 2006 NAMI Convention.

Attendees enjoyed four days packed with workshops, seminars, program tracks, exhibits, receptions and entertainment. From meeting face-to-face with some of America's top mental health researchers and physicians, to visiting with congressional representatives, to honoring the achievements of the NAMI movement over the past year, the opportunities for learning, networking, advocacy and celebration abounded.

Thank you to all the presenters, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and attendees who made this year's convention such a success. We look forward to seeing you next year for the 2007 NAMI Convention in San Diego, June 20 - 24.
