Support NAMI Oregon and its mission
by contributing online!

TAKE ACTION NOW TO SAVE
OUR COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM!

Making your voice heard today will help preserve community treatment services for individuals living with a severe mental illness.

The Joint Ways and Means Committee of the Oregon Legislature is considering cuts to the community mental health system that would eliminate services to more than 6,000 people, thrusting them into crisis. These are people who, without treatment in their community, will end up at the Oregon State Hospital, in local jails, in emergency rooms -- or worse!

Read more about how you can make a difference today.

NAMI Northwest Walk a Success!

Thank you all for a fabulous event – we had 1,602 people come join us Sunday, May 17, to help stomp out the stigma and send the message to the community that mental health care is important! That’s nearly 500 more than last year.Whether you raised money, volunteered the day of the event or ahead of time (or both!), led a team, or walked, your contribution to our mission truly made a difference!

We will be accepting donations through July 17, both online through the walk web site and at our office. Now’s a great time to remind people who haven’t yet sponsored you, or have promised a donation, that they can still contribute. They can donate through your online page or send checks to our NAMI Oregon office at 3550 SE Woodward St., Portland, OR 97202.

Now go congratulate yourselves for a job well done!
