Beaufort County's Voice on Mental Illness
Welcome to the website of the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Beaufort County! We are a grassroots, self-help, support, and advocacy organization for people with mental illness, and their families and friends.

Our programs are supported by our members, donations and fundraisers, as well as grants from the following organizations: Alliance for Human Services, Bargain Box, Beaufort Fund, Hargray Caring Coins, Heritage Classic Foundation, Long Cove Foundation, Murray Foundation, Saint Francis Thrift Shop, Wachovia Foundation, and the State of South Carolina

FAMILY TO FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAM
FREE 12 week education and support program
For families and friends of anyone with a mental illness.
A series of 12 weekly classes to help family members understand and support individuals with serious mental illness, while maintaining their own well-being.
Learn about mental illness, medication, recovery and treatment.
Starting February 24, 2010 6:30pm - 9:00pm
