to Mental Wellness

A FREE public event that will be held at the Visiting Nurse Association
2500 East 22nd St.,
Cleveland, 44115. 

  • Speakers sharing personal success stories of recovery from mental illness.
  • A panel representing the schools, faith-based organizations and the criminal justice and crisis systems. 
  • Private one on one meetings with provider organizations to have your personal questions answered. 
  • Advice for what to do if someone you know is exhibiting signs of mental illness and/or addiction.
  • Referrals for mental health and addiction treatment services and appointments for assessments will be provided on the spot.
     

Ample FREE parking and refreshments provided.

The ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County, the Common Pleas Court of Cuyahoga County, NAMI Greater Cleveland, Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University and the Mental Health Advocacy Coalition are sponsoring this event.

SUPPORT GROUPS

NAMI Greater Cleveland offers 26 Support Groups throughout Cuyahoga County. 

We offer Wellness Groups
(for individuals with mental illness) &
Family/Caregivers Support Groups. Some specialty groups include: Spousal, Young Families, Teens with mental illness in the family, ADHD for teens and Adults, Diagnosis Dual , 
Women's Empowerment, Spiritual, Art Journaling, Hispanic and Mind, Body and Spirit. See the Support Group page fora list of all our groups.

 NAMI Internships

These unpaid internships offer hands-on experience in a mission-driven organization with a friendly, motivated staff committed to a crucial cause: raising awareness to fight stigma associated with mental illness.

Positions in the areas of both Communications/Marketing and Fundraising are available. Office located in the historic Ohio City - West Side Market Neighborhood.
