 NAMI Greater Longview is an affiliate of NAMI Texas, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness(NAMI). 

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Provide knowledge and empowerment for people whose lives are affected by mental illness through education, support, and advocacy.

OUR MEMBERS ARE VOLUNTEERS WHO:

 * Offer understanding, encouragement, and emotional support to families and consumers faced with chronic mental illness.

* Strive to educate themselves and the community about mental illness, to stay well informed about all aspects of mental illness, including medical research.

* Provide resource information and telephone support.
