National Allianceon Mental Illness (NAMI) of the Pee Dee is a non-profit, grass-roots organization dedicated to improving the quality of life, treatment and services for people with mental illness, and to improving the quality of life for their families and friends.  We provide education, support and advocacy to accomplish these goals.

NAMI of the Pee Dee is part of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest grass-roots organization for people with mental illness and their families.  We support NAMI’s national advocacy efforts as well as those of NAMI South Carolina for improved mental health treatment and resources, community services, research funding and health insurance parity.

We welcome as members all individuals who support our purpose and/or need our services.  Membership meetings are held the second Thursday of January, March, May, September, and November at 6:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church in Florence, located at the corner of Cheves Street and Irby Street.
