NAMI Nebraska is a nonprofit, grassroots organization dedicated to education, support and advocacy for anyone whose life has been touched by mental illness.  We believe in  recovery and the hope for a better future.

NAMI Nebraska helps unite parents, spouses, siblings, friends and people who have a mental illness together with mental health professionals to fight for improved treatment, a better quality of life and recovery.

Individuals identify recovery as being an ongoing journey and an end result as well as an overall paradigm for achieving wellness and optimal mental health.

NAMI Nebraska is available to support persons on their road to recovery by providing respect and peer support. Consumers have a personal responsibility for their own self-care and journeys of recovery. NAMI Nebraska provides the support for individuals and families on their journey.
