 Image           Educational MeetingMay 8th – "Use of Clozapine for the Treatment of Schizophrenia", Juan R. Bustillo, MD, Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience, University of New Mexico will discuss when to use clozapine and when not to use it; how it is started; the side effects and risks. He will give examples of benefits and complications in real patients treated with clozapine at UNM.

Elyn Saks is the author of "The Center Cannot Hold: "My Journey Through Madness".  NAMI ABQ and the UNM Center for Rural and Community Behavioral Health Brought to New Mexico via video-teleconference technology, a special educational program with Elyn Saks.  The video-teleconference was recorded but the link to the archive containing the video is not functioning. As a result, we have located a link to a website that has Elyn Saks presenting a talk on schizophrenia to an international conference on schizophrenia.  Except for local content and a Q&A period, the talk is very similar
