Jay D. Fawver, MD, is the President and Medical Director of Fawver Wellness Clinic, a Fort Wayne, Indiana private psychiatric practice. The Fawver Wellness Clinic strives toward achieving individual “wellness” in treating mental health conditions, including lifestyle recovery, physical fitness, work productivity and selective monitoring for metabolic concerns such as weight management, diabetes and thyroid disturbances.
Dr. Fawver is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with the subspecialty of Geriatric Psychiatry. A graduate of Purdue University, Dr. Fawver was a pharmacist prior to his medical training, and he has been an advisor to several pharmaceutical companies for more than 20 years, participating as a principal investigator and assisting in the development of medication studies and outcomes of disease states such as fibromyalgia.
