NAMI Wyoming

NAMI Wyoming is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, which is a grassroots, self-help, support and advocacy organization of people with serious mental illness and their families and friends.

Our purpose is:

•  to advocate for better services, treatment and protection of rights of those with serious mental illnesses through education and other appropriate means.
• to inform members of services and facilities available to them.
• to develop a public understanding of the problems of serious mental illnesses.
• to cooperate with other state and national organizations with similar objectives.

NAMI’s mission is to improve the quality of life for those who suffer from depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder,  panic disorder, autism, borderline personality disorder and other severe and persistent mental illnesses that affect the brain.
