Partnerships is a family-professional model of educating families about mental illness and persons with mental illness.  Partnerships goes beyond lip service.  It models how families and professionals do work together, providing support and knowledge to each other.  The central concept of the Partnerships model is one of mutally shared respect of families' and professionals' experiences and knowledge.  One key component is "partnership" in all aspects of involvement related to the educational workshops.

Our Mission

Education is the key component for family members of persons suffering from mental illness to endure the many hardships placed on them.   The objective of Partnerships is to help families understand mental illness, enhance their coping skills and to obtain information about community resources and support.
