About Us

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)  is the nation’s largest grassroots organization for people with mental illness and their families. Founded in 1979, NAMI has grown to over 950 affiliates across the United States.  The NAMI PA Cumberland and Perry is located in South Central Pennsylvania, about 30 miles SW of the capital city of Harrisburg, PA. NAMI PA Cumberland/Perry Counties' mission is to provide emotional support and education for families and persons affected by mental illness. Through community collaboration, support groups, and educational offerings we advocate for a life of quality and dignity—one without discrimination—for all people affected by these illnesses. 

If you have interest in serving on the NAMI PA Cumberland and Perry Board, Please email or contact one of the board members directly about responsibilities of board service.
