Support Groups

Adult Consumer Support Meeting ~ Every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., and every Saturday at 11:30 AM Meetings are held at the NAMI Alaska Building at 144 West 15th Avenue in Anchorage, between Cordova and C Street.

General Support Meeting for Families & Friends ~ 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Meetings are held at Central Lutheran Church at 1420 Cordova Street, at the corner of Cordova and 15th Avenue.


Other Activities

One-on-one peer support by phone, drop-in or email.

Monthly Education Forum on timely topics about mental illness and recovery. Meetings held the third Wednesday of the month at Central Lutheran Church at 1420 Cordova Street, at the corner of Cordova and 15th Avenue.

Family-to-Family free 12-week education class for family members of relatives with mental illness. Held in fall and spring. Call 272-0227 to enroll.

Lending library of over 300 books, DVDs and CDs on mental illness and recovery.
