NAMI South Dakota is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Your tax deductible contribution will help us continue our efforts involving education, outreach and advocacy.

NAMI South Dakota is funded almost entirely by private donations. We do receive occasional grant money for specific purposes, but they do not cover the operational expenses involved with running the organization.

There are a variety of ways you can support us:

1).    Become a dues-paid member (remember to join your local NAMI affiliate and NAMI National, too)

2).    Send a donation whenever you can afford it.

3).    Send a donation to our Endowment Fund. (We have established endowments with South Dakota Community Foundation and the Sioux

Falls Area Community Foundation that will stabilize our finances in the future). Contact either organization or NAMI South Dakota for

information on how you can help build a strong future for NAMI South Dakota.

4).    Remember NAMI South Dakota in your estate planning.

5).     Encourage people you know to join NAMI South Dakota.

6).   Form a Walk Team for the NAMI Walks for the Mind of America Walk in May each year.

Thank you for choosing NAMI South Dakota.

Together we will make a difference in the lives of people who are affected by mental illness.
