Family-to-Family Education - This free NAMI twelve-week (30-hour) course is given twice a year by trained volunteers and is open to family members, caretakers, and friends of those with a mental illness. This course teaches skills that are needed to cope more effectively with ill family members.

Public Education - NAMI of Frederick County sponsors educational programs throughout the year which are open to the public. These programs feature experts on topics related to mental illness. The Calendar has the dates, times, and locations.
In Our Own Voice - This one-and-a-half hour interactive, multimedia presentation by consumers offers hope and provides insight into the recovery now possible for people with mental Illness.

Peer-to-Peer Education - This free NAMI nine-week course is taught by consumers for consumers, all of whom are recovering from mental illness. The classes are about recovery and hope.

- Connection Recovery Support Group - This is a recovery support group program for adults living with mental illness that is expanding in communities throughout the country. These groups provide a place that offers respect, understanding, encouragement and hope. The Calendar has the dates, times, and locations.
