Please join us for our November 20, 2014, 2014 forum. "Communicating with a Loved One Who Has a Mental Illness" will be presented by Ingrid Waldron, President of NAMI PA, Main Line. This forum will help you to improve your ability to communicate effectively with a loved one who may be psychotic, deeply depressed, highly anxious, and/or dealing with other symptoms of mental illness. We will discuss communication as a two-way process, why and how to listen well, expressing yourself effectively, and LEAP (Listen, Empathize, Agree, Partner). There will be ample time for questions and discussion.
