One way to make changes in the mental health system and to improve the lives of us living with mental illness is to contact your legislators and let them know how important mental health is to you.  We can make a difference if the policymakers know who you are and what NAMI is.  Whe you hear about a bill that is going to be concern you or your loved one affected by mental illness, let them know that passing that bill is important to you.  Believe me they will listen.
