Mission and Vision
NAMI Northern Virginia and its volunteers work together to raise awareness and provide education, advocacy, and support programs for people living with mental illness, families, schools, law enforcement, and others throughout our neighborhoods. NAMI Northern Virginia addresses the mental illness needs of our community, replaces stigma with understanding, and helps thousands of families and individuals each year.
NAMI Northern Virginia's vision is that those living with mental illness are afforded opportunities to live, work, learn and participate fully in their communities, free of stigma, and fully enjoying their human rights.
NAMI Northern Virginia serves Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, and Loudoun County.
