Due to the Christmas holidays the next NAMI Kenosha support groups will be on Thursday January 8th and Thursday January 22nd at Paul's Lutheran Church on the corner of 88th St and 39th Ave.  We will have 2 support groups at 6:00.  One support group is for people that are coping with a mental illness, a second support group is for the family members and friends of those coping with a mental illness.

We are currently enrolling people for the January Family to Family classes that run for 12 consecutive weeks. This year we are offering 2 classes in English at 2 different locations and one class in Spanish. The Engish classes will start on Tuesday January 13th and run from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. They will be held at the Kenosha County Building at 8600 Sheridan road and at the Kenosha County building at the intersection of Hwy 50 and Hwy 45. The class content will be the same at both locations but we would like to offer one class in the city and one class in the county if the enrollments are large enough.

The Spanish class will start on Saturday, January 24th and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. It will be held at Wilson School, 4520 33rd Ave.

For more information or to enroll in the Family to Family classes please call NAMI Kenosha at 652-3606 or Dick Guenther at 694-7026.
