as Mistress of Ceremonies, weaving in her personal
struggle with depression.

 - Family Chair Meredith Turner, constituent liaison 
for United States Senator Sherrod Brown, shared her
experience taking NAMI's Family-to-Family Class.  

- Ben Miladin, NAMI GC Board Member, shared his tried
and true  fundraising tips.

July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month and NAMI GC Multicultural Outreach Program marked the occasion with the second annual Fresh Friday For Emotional Wellness at the Cuyahoga County Public Library-Warrensville Heights branch on July 18th. More than 90 individuals including children took part in the fun filled and informative day designed to enhance emotional well-being, while providing coping techniques and mental health information they can use in their everyday lives to care for their
mind, body and spirit.

NAMI Greater Cleveland offers  Support Groups throughout Cuyahoga County.
 

We offer Wellness Groups
(for individuals with mental illness) &
Family/Caregivers Support Groups. Some specialty groups include: Spousal, Young Families, ADHD for teens and Adults, Dual Diagnosis,Women's Empowerment, Spiritual, Art Journaling, Hispanic and Mind, Body and Spirit.
