*Note: Green Oaks Hospital is located at 7808 Clodus Field, Dallas near the east end of Merit Drive behind Medical City Hospital on Forest Lane and Central Expressway. It is the 23 hour observation unit for DANSA (Dallas Area NorthSTAR Authority). This psychiatric Crisis Stabilization Unit can be utilized as a psychiatric emergency room just as Parkland Hospital psychiatric ER is used. Being a member of NorthSTAR is not necessary. They will accept indigent, Medicaid, or private patients. If you have insurance, so much the better. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
