Monthly Program Meetings

NAMI Austin’s monthly Program Meetings focus on support, information, education, and opportunities for advocacy to improve services. Individuals with a mental illness and friends, family members, and caring professionals of those with an illness or any other concerned persons are invited to attend the program meetings. NAMI Austin Program Meetings are open to the public. Please join us!

Held on the fourth Monday of the month.
There are no Program Meetings in July, August or December.

Canteen Conference Meeting Room

4110 Guadalupe St., Austin, Texas
Refreshments at 6:30 pm
Meetings begin at 7:00 pm

Directions: Enter the Austin State Hospital campus through the main entrance on Guadalupe at 41st St. Turn right at the first street—it’s not far. On your left you will pass the side of the old, stone Administration Building. Next on your left you will see a one story, brown brick building. That’s it! The sign will say Canteen and Nifty-Fifty Diner. Drive around to the back of the building and park in the lot. The conference room has doors that open onto that parking lot. Signs are posted. Come on in!

NAMI Austin Board Meetings are open to the public. Please join us!

Held on the Wednesday preceding the monthly Program Meeting.

Bldg. 781, 4th Floor, Room 406 (Next door to the NAMI Austin office)

Meetings begin at 6:00 pm

Directions: Enter the Austin State Hospital campus through the main entrance on Guadalupe at 41st St. Take your first left and then your first right. Bldg 781 is the tall, 5-story building in front of you. Enter through the glass doors on the ground floor and take the elevator to the 4th floor. Turn left and then left again down the hallway.
