TYPES OF MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE

• Regular Membership ($20) -
  Voting member; for consumers, their families and friends will receive the benefits of local, state and national organization.
• Low Income Membership($10) -
  Voting member; for consumers, their families and friends will receive the benefits of local, state and national organization.
• Friend / Professional Membership ($50) -
  Voting member; for individuals who wish to receive the benefits of local, state and national organization.
• Agency / Associate Membership ($500 & up) -
  Non-voting member; for agencies and organizations who wish to receive the benefits of state and national organization.

LETTER TO POTENTIAL NAMI MEMBERS:

Dear Potential NAMI Member:

I would like to take this time to ask you to join NAMI Arkansas. The annual membership fees are minimal, while the advantages are numerous. With your NAMI Arkansas membership you will receive our News and Views Newsletter. You also become a member of the National NAMI organization that puts out a bi-monthly magazine, The Advocate, which contains a wealth of information as well as maintaining an up-to-date website (http://www.nami.org) with current news stories, communities pages, and lots of useful information and resources. You can also take advantage of discounted rates to conferences and training with your membership.

But, what is more important than all the advantages of joining NAMI that I listed above… is that by joining NAMI… you become a voice. You will be joining others who have made a commitment to bringing "help for today and hope for tomorrow" to persons and their families who are affected by a mental illness.

NAMI Arkansas is a non-profit organization that depends on memberships, grants, and donations to fund its work of providing support, education, and advocacy to improve the lives of people with severe mental illnesses, their families and community.
