NAMIWALKS 2005

The NAMI Texas Walk will be held on October 2, 2005 at Auditorium Shores in Austin. Walkers should check in at 8:30 am and the official start time is 10:00 am. This is a 5k (3.1 miles), non-competitive walk.

  • There is no walker registration fee for the Walk. All participants are encouraged to collect donations from family members, friends, co-workers and business associates in support of their participation in the Walk.
  • All the proceeds from the Walk will be used to fund NAMIís programs here in Texas. These programs include support, education, research and advocacy involving schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic depression), major depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and severe anxiety disorders.
