Thank you to the over 950 walkers, 117 walk teams and 50 corporate sponsors who helped make the 6TH Annual Connecticut NAMIWALKS for the Mind of America a success in 2009. We hope that you, your friends, and family members will join us for our 7th Annual NAMIWALKS for the Mind of America on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Bushnell Park, located behind the state capitol building in Downtown Hartford. The walk will take place rain or shine. Our 7th year goals are:
NAMIWALKS for the Mind of America is a nationwide mental health awareness and fundraising program being held in nearly 70 communities around the country. All proceeds from NAMIWALKS will be used to fund NAMI's education, support and advocacy programs.
Below you will find links to our NAMIWALKS website where you can register online, create a Walk team, join an existing Walk team, sponsor a walker, or become an event sponsor. All walkers are encouraged to reach out to family, friends, co-workers and business associates to raise support for their participation in the Walk. This is NAMI CT's only fundraiser!
