Job Opening

Many volunteers are needed to do the tasks locally that help us to support those with mental illness and their families.

Make presentations about NAMI to interested local groups. Setup NAMI booth and answer questions regarding NAMI at events in the area. Materials are provided, need someone available during daytime hours. Further training if desired by state NAMI to develop speaking or presentation skills. Contact Robin or Glenn at 309-825-8469.

Teachers first go through the class they will be teaching as a student. Then will take a expenses paid weekend training session to learn how to teach the class. You must be a dues paying NAMI member and willing to teach two classes after successfully completing the training. This is our area of most pressing need for volunteers. This allows us to reach out and provide help and support to those with mental illness and their families Contact Glenn at (309)533-2607 or by email at
