NAMI Huron meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month at the Huron Regional Medical Center Towers.

Each meeting features a support group for families and consumers, as well as an educational speaker or video. For more information, call Deanna Corcoran at 605-352-0869. All families of people with neurobiological brain disorders (mental illesses) and people who have these disorders are welcome.


Family to Family Education classes are available in Huron for family members of persons who have schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe depression, obsessive compuslive disorder, schizo-affective disorder and severe panic/anxiety disorders. If you would like to learn more about these illnesses, medications, family coping and communication skills and other basic information to make family living better and to help the ill person to progress, call the state office at 1-800-551-2531 to enroll.
