The first method of fundraising for our organization is membership dues.
Please consider joining NAMI Greater Des Moines. We need you.

A second way to help is to make a donation to our organization. If you decide to
make a donation – thank you for your generosity.
NARSAD Art Products
Products designed be persons with brain disorders (mental illness).
Magazines
Schizophrenia (SZ) Magazine, BP(Bipolar)
Magazine, and Esperenza (anxiety & depressive disorders) Magazine are each offered at Sunday
educational meetings, conferences, and other events at a reduced cost.

NAMI E-Join is a nationwide online membership initiative that began June 20, 2007.
E-Join will allow visitors to NAMI's Web
(www.nami.org) site to join online, using a credit card, for a universal dues
rate of $35/annually. The money is sent to the state and local affiliate.

NARSAD (The Mental Health Research Association) is a national, not-for-profit organization whose primary objective is to raise funds to find the causes,
cures, treatments, and prevention of severe brain disorders – www.narsad.org
NARSAD art products are available for sale at Sunday educational meetings, conferences,

NAMI Walks

3 mile walk check-in 8:30 AM
start time 10:00 A.M.
There are 3 ways to participate
- Form a walk team
- Join an existing team
- Walk as an individual
Or – you can sponsor a walker, be a sponsor for the event, or make a donation.
If you designate NAMI Greater Des Moines as the affiliate you would like to help support -
we would be most appreciative of your generosity.
When you donate to the walk - if you choose to designate the NAMI Greater Des Moines local affiliate –
- 40% of the funds will go to NAMI Greater Des Moines
- 15% of the funds will go to NAMI National, and
- 45% - will go to NAMI Iowa
If NAMI Greater Des Moines is not designated – we will receive no funds from your donation.
We would be most grateful if you would choose to designate NAMI Greater Des Moines so all three levels of our organization
can benefit from your generosity.
