2003

NAMI National established the NAMI WALKS for the Mind of America with 12 sites across America. It was such a success they expanded it the next year

2004

There were 52 sites including Boston, MA. We had a tremendous show of enthusiasm. Over 4,000 people showed up to on a cold, rainy May 22, 2004. Our past president, Bob Smith,  was captain of the affiliate team - JUNK YARD BOB'S Team. The final totals were over $220,000.00 for the entire state. NAMI NCM raised over $7,000.00 which they have put to good use.

We also addd 2 new teams - from Crystal House "Lizzies' Walkers", and Team Guy.  Yunk Yard Bob's Team grew to 22 members this year. Final figures not yet in.
