Mental Illness Awareness Week
Mental Illness Awareness Week, Autumn Gala October 12, 2013 was a huge success. Thank you to all of our volunteers and sponsors, including Gigi's Pizza and Pasta. Eric Waxler did a great job as Emcee, and Pete Earley's presentation as our guest speaker was outstanding.
We would also like to mention that all of the furnishings for the event were donated. The floral arrangements, table settings, and food were all donated by our very generous supporters. Thank you everyone for making the event a wonderful experience.
2013 Sponsors for MIAW “Autumn Gala”
With appreciation for their compassion and community involvement, NAMI Pasco would like to thank the following sponsors for their support and sponsorship for the Autumn Gala in recognition of Mental Illness Awareness Week
If you have a FB page this is a great way to make more people aware of NAMI Pasco and what we offer to people in our communities. It's a great advocacy tool and a simple but great way for all of our members to contribute towards educating the public through this social media. A media that has millions of people attached to it. We just need everyone's help who has a Facebook page to hit "like" and then encourage all of your friends to hit "like" on the NAMI Pasco page. Before you know it, we are educating lots and lots of people all about what NAMI does, our needs for more mental health services and on and on and on.....chances are you may very well help someone find the NAMI resource they desperately need and didn't know existed.
