Nami Walk to be hosted by Scott County

This year's NAMI Walk of Scott County will be held on Saturday, May
5th, at Credit Island Park, 2200 W River Drive in Davenport, IA.  Check-in
begins at 8:30 am, and the walk will start at 10:00 am.  The event is a 5K walk,
which is 3.1 miles, but the course is a down-and-back path, so walkers are
free to turn around at anytime.

The goals of the NAMI - Walks programs are to fight the stigma that
surrounds mental illness, to build awareness of the fact that the
mental health system in this country needs to be improved, and to raise funds
for NAMI so that we can continue our mission.

This event is a fundraiser for NAMI - Scott County, but 45% of all
money raised by walkers who designate Clinton County as their affiliate will
stay with our local chapter.

If you would like to register to walk or make a donation online, you
can do so at:  If you would like a
registration or donation form mailed to you, you can contact Greg and
Teri Paulline at or (563) 388 - 9068.

Thank you for your interest and support.
