November 6th: Informational/Educational Program @ 7:30-9:00 PM: Come join us on Wednesday, November 6th at Mather Hospital; Conference Room 1 at 7:30 pm- Learn about the services of RESPONSE of Suffolk County! Lisa Heim-Zeller, MSW, Response Training Coordinator, will speak about: Response services, suicide prevention, active listening skills, help callers capitalize on their strengths in the prevention of self-destructive behaviors or suicide, provide referrals and information about community programs and resources, and to heighten public awareness of suicide prevention through community education, outreach and training.

November 20th General Support Group @ 7:30 PM for all who are affected by mental illness- individuals, family members, significant others and friends.

Mind-Body Skills for Self Care Workshop: This informational workshop will introduce Mind-Body skills and mindfulness based strategies to give you the tools and resources to begin the process of finding balance in your demanding role as a caregiver. Participation in a Mind-Body Skills Group has the potential to relieve symptoms and transform the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of your life; this program will provide self-care strategies that you can immediately integrate in your everyday living.
