To provide education to family members about mental illness. coping, communication and self-care.
To provide support groups to advise and strengthen families with mentally ill loved ones.
To develop a better understanding of mental illness by the public.
To promote and advocate for the general welfare of persons with a mental illness.
To foster the development and continuation of treatment programs to help meet the needs of individuals with mental illness.
To erase the negative stereotyping and the stigma associated with mental illness.
