Local NAMI Support Groups

NAMI Support Groups are free and no registration is needed

NAMI Support Group Sheet (pdf)  There are two NAMI Family Support Groups for family members only who have completed the NAMI Family-to-Family course. Details for both groups are located on the home page of this site.

Butterfly bullet 1st Thursday Camp Hill Support Group and Quarterly Education Program

Starting on October 2, 2012 will meet at Saint Timothy's Lutheran Church, 4200 Carlisle Pike in Camp Hill, PA. 17011. Once each quarter the 1st Thursday has a Public Education Presentation from 6:30pm to 7:30pm followed by the Support Group from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Open to individuals living with mental illness, families and friends.  Contact Person is Thom Fager at 717.697.2602.  When there is no education program, the support group will start at 6:30 pm.

Butterfly bullet NAMI Connection 2nd and 4th Sunday from 2pm to 4 pm at the Aurora Cyber Café, 104 West Main Street in Downtown Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 (717) 591-9598 (across from Jo Jo's Pizza). Parking is on the street in public spaces there is a NAMI Connection Support Group Meeting.

NAMI Connection support groups are specific for individual living with mental illness/challenges 

Butterfly bullet3rd Thursday Carlisle Quarterly Free Public Education Program for anyone who is interested Meets  once each quarter before the support group on the 3rd Thursday from 7pm to 8pm at STAR located at 253 Penrose Place, Carlisle, PA 17013  (Near the DQ) and is followed by a by a blended support groups is for persons with the mental health disorder/problem as well as families and friends from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. For months when there is no Education Program the blended support group starts at 7:00 pm  and can last up to 8:30 p.m.
