NAMI FAMILY-TO-FAMILY

EDUCATION PROGRAM

A series of 12 weekly classes structured to help families understand and support individuals with serious mental illness while maintaining their own well being.  The course provides information about the following diagnoses:  Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder (Manic Depression), Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Panic Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Co-occurring Brain Disorders and Addictive Disorders.  The course is FREE for family members, spouses and significant others of an adult individual with mental illness.

 

 

 

FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP

An informal time of caring and sharing under the direction of a trained facilitator.  The Family Support Group meets the second Thursday of every month.  These meetings are held at 6:30 PM at Central United Methodist Church in Florence, located at the corner of Cheves Street and Irby Street.
