Family to Family Class


Free twelve week class (that require a twelve week commitment) taught by trained family members for family members or friends of those with mental illness. The Family-to Family curriculum focuses on schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic depression). clinical depression, panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). The course discusses the clinical treatment of these illnesses and teaches the knowledge and skills that family members need to cope more effectively. This is targeted for family members and friends whose family member friend with mental illness is eighteen years old or older. Classes are taught twice a year - fall with classes on Saturday and early spring with classes on a weekday in the evening.  Contact Barb at 309-663-2699.
