NAMI OF SOUTHWESTERN WISCONSIN PROGRAMS

Newsletters
Our NAMI puts out a semimonthly newsletter to subscribers.  Subscriptions are free.  It covers news stories related to mental illness and legal issues affecting people with mental illness and their families.  To subscribe to our bimonthly newsletter, contact us.  There is a brief online version as well.

Meetings
We hold Support Group Meetings every other Thursday at 7 pm in the Lower Lounge at St. Augustine's University Parish on Hickory and Pine Streets in Platteville.   Meeting dates are on our calendar.  Click on the heading above.

Advocacy
We provide information and assistance to members of the mental illness community in dealing with the bureacracies involved in providing care and support, and help finding services in the community.  Assistance is free and confidential.  See our contact information.

Speakers
We provide trained speakers who have experienced mental illness for groups through NAMI of Southwestern Wisconsin's In Our Own Voice program.  All we require are a television and video cassette recorder.  Contact us to schedule a presentation today!
