NAMI-Huntsville Library Listing

The NAMIH Library is located at our offices in the

United Way Building at 701 Andrew Jackson Way in Huntsville, AL.

NAMIH members may check out books, videos, or cassette tapes.

Visitors are welcome to use the library on-site for reference material.

Office hours are 9am to 3pm M-F. The office is also open from 6-7pm on the third Thursday of each month before the educational meetings.

NAMIH believes that informed families are stronger families and that such families are better able to be supportive of their ill relatives and friends who suffer from a brain disorder of serious mental illness (SMI). NAMIH continually upgrades its library stock in an effort to provide current members with materials, which are up-to-date with comprehensive information written in laymen’s language.

NOTE: Please be conscientious about returning materials (2 weeks is recommended) so others will have access to valuable information as soon as it is needed.
