Thanks to your support and efforts, Governor Brown, on September 22, 2012, signed Laura's Law extending it to January 1, 2017.  This legislation has had a pilot program in Los Angeles County and supports Assisted Outpatient Treatment for the severely mentally ill who cannot provide basic services for themselves including seeking treatment and recovery.
