QUICK GUIDE for Families and Friends Providing Care and Support is an excellent primer on a wide range of critical issues. WARNING: This guide is a local edition for Alameda County in Northern California. There does not yet exist a local equivalent guide. The particular service agencies and phone lines referred to are generally not available in the Greater Glendale area. For local agencies and phone numbers see the other resources listed here.

Internet and Other Resources for Family Economic Success 2014   is a one-stop-shop of a document, just chock full of internet resources to support family stability with an emphasis on economic success and related services.  There are many links to public and private agencies that give free or low cost services to individuals and families in crisis, including both California specific and national resources.  This PDF version comes with clickable links to the various sites.

One of our best non-emergency resources is the group wisdom found at our family and recovery support groups. For meeting places and times see our home page. .)
