In addition to the Support Groups listed below, you can also find local and internet resources.

What are Support Groups?

Support Groups offered at the Hope Center mostly target specific mental illnesses with some open to any mental illness.  They give individuals with mental illness, their family members, or caregivers the opportunity to meet with their peers for support and understanding.  They are facilitated by trained consumers or family members.

There are 17 different support groups offered at various times throughout the week/month not only at the Hope Center in Springfield, but some in outlying areas such as Branson, Marshfield, and Mt Vernon.

The support groups offered are:

 Bipolar  Depression
Dual Diagnosis  Family to Family (4 locations)
 NAMI C.A.R.E.S.  Panic/Anxiety & OCD
Poetry for Growing and Healing  Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
 Procovery Circle  Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective
Women Only  Family & Consumer Support Group (2 locations)

Consumers, family members, and caregivers can find the right support group that meets their needs/diagnosis.  NAMI C.A.R.E.S, Poetry, and Women Only support groups are open to anyone with any mental illness.  Please see the support group calendar for specific dates, times, and places
