Peer-to-Peer is a free nine week course designed for people with mental illness; to assist them in understanding brain disorders, symptom management, relapse prevention, coping skills, and advance directives. 

We schedule two classes a year. Food for Thought, a cookbook written by the NAMI Florida Consumer Council, is now available!

The proceeds of this beautiful book go to support the many activities and advocacy efforts sponsored by the Consumer Council. This includes training and implementation for our Peer-to-Peer program, scholarships for consumers to attend conferences, and other programs designed to educate and empower Consumer Councils at the state and afflilate levels. 

Food for Thought costs $10.00 for one or two for $15.00 and a portion of the proceeds will help consumers in Pinellas County. If you'd like to purchase the cookbook while supplies last, please contact Steven Thompson.
