The Sarah Ann Drop-In Center (SAC) was named after the late Sarah Francouer, who with her late husband, founded NAMI of Collier County. The SAC is a center for persons receiving mental health services to attend to receive socialization and integration into the community. The SAC is a stand-alone facility in Naples.
The Sarah Ann Drop-In Center is a focal point for our consumers and community partners. The Drop-In Center is a consumer operated facility for persons who are in recovery to go during the day. There are many opportunities for socialization, prevention of isolation and education. Persons who attend are able to eat lunch (provided) together, shop together, plan activities and outings and attend in-house support groups. FACT staff members and members of our community mental health agencies refer their clients to the Center on an ongoing basis. The Drop-In partners with the Harry Chapin Food Bank to allow persons to have access to dry goods and canned goods on a continued basis.

All participants must come in or call one working day before scheduled outing to sign up. Activities and outings usually start between noon and 1 p.m. and may be re-scheduled. Management reserves the right to give priority for outing participation to members who are frequent visitors.
