NAMI Cambridge-Middlesex Support

 

Education meetings.  See the Programs link to the left.

 

Caring and Sharing.  For people with a mentally ill family member to discuss solutions for coping and understanding, and to work together toward recovery.  Every third Monday of the month at the Somerville hospital, directions in the link below.  If you want to attend, call Elizabeth at 781-646-0397.

 

NAMI CONNECTION, consumer support group meets weekly on Wednesday at 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cambridge Hospital, 3rd floor, Learning Center C/D.  It is offered free of charge with the following criteria:

  • for adults with mental illness, regardless of diagnosis
  • follows a flexible structure without an educational format
  • does not recommend or endorse any medications or other medical therapies
  • no need to register – just drop in
  • groups are led by trained individuals who are in recovery themselves
  • everyone is a valued participant
  • all groups are confidential
