NAMI DC provides a support group for those who have a mental illness or are family members of those who do. It meets every Wednesday evening (except holidays or times of inclement weather) from 7:00 - 8:30 in our office. The address is 422 8th St SE, Washington, DC 20003 and it is about a block away from the Eastern Market metro station. The group is free of charge to everyone and you don't need a referral or registration. Please call 202.546.0646 if you have any questions.
