NAMI of NCM offers individual support groups for both consumers (those with a mental illness) and family / loved ones of consumers.

Click on the type of support group you are looking for on the left for times and locations.

Family Support Group

The Family support group focuses on the family and loved ones of those living with a mental illness. The facilitators have been specially trained by NAMI MASS educators and follow an agenda-based format. Literature covering a vast array of issues are available at the meetings as well.

NAMI Connection Support Group

Connection groups are for "consumers" (the person with the mental illness). The facilitators are consumers as well, specially trained by NAMI MASS to act as facilitators. These support groups are more structured and also provide an array of literature. The main focus here is on recovery and the future.
