A list of support group meetings, locations, times and attendee information. Please note that some support groups are open to all participants, while others may request only family members or mental health consumers attend.

Austin Area Mental Health Consumers/SHAC
Free consumer groups/classes.

Date/Time: Second Monday of each month, 7 pm

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) Support Group
Date/Time: First Monday of each month; 7:30 – 9 pm
Location: Austin State Hospital, Canteen Meeting Room, 4110 Guadalupe St, Austin TX

This is a free monthly support group for friends and family members of people with Borderline Personality Disorder. A licensed mental health professional will moderate all group sessions.

Location: The Allison House, located off Lakecreek Drive and 620, across from Round Rock High School. Proceed to the little house behind Central Baptist Church.

Recovery, Inc. is a self-help mental health organization that uses a system of cognitive/behavioral techniques to help manage and control nervous symptoms and fears. There is no charge to attend meetings, although a $3 donation is suggested.
